SENASA, Services and Studies for Air Navigation and Aeronautical Safety S.M.E. M.P. S.A., has acquired a strong commitment with quality establishing a management system which main actions are:

 

  • MANAGE the organization in a way to achieve a management according to the requisites of its clients and always in terms of more efficiency and benefit for both parts, pursuing their satisfaction according their expectations.
  • GUARANTEE the compliance of current legal and regulatory requirements which regulate SENASA´s activities and conformity assessment of processes, products, services and facilities, through standardized procedures and instructions and constantly updated.
  • GUARANTEE the principles of independency and integrity for assure the impartiality in the realization of the works and reports issued as a result of those works.
  • GUARANTEE the confidentiality of the information, whether property of clients or of third entities, as if was information generated subsequent SENASA´s works, through the commitment of its staff and the establishment of protection measures for facilities and data.
  • GUARANTEE the staff permanent capacity and technical excellency for the realization of the works through a continuous training, documented and periodically updated according the necessities identified by the organization, for which there is a Training Plan.
  • GUARANTEE at all times the commissioning and correct operation of the ATC simulation elements.
  • MAINTAIN a clear, concise and fluid communication with clients and third parties and inform them punctually about the events and the incidents that have occurred in the course of the activities.
  • ESTABLISH this quality policy at the different levels to be taken and communicate it to all the concerned staff, as well as, facilitate its understanding and proceed to its review in order to its continuous adaptation.
  • COMPLY with the requirements and enhance the continuous improvement of the quality management system efficiency, involving to all the staff and providing a reference framework to establish and review its objectives.
  • PROMOTE the improvement of the Aeronautical Safety and Security, Facilitation and Sustainability of air transport enhancing the action fields of the different management areas and in close collaboration with national and international authorities and other relevant organizations.

 

CERTIFICACIONES Y AUTORIZACIONES

E-ATO-242

Certifies SENASA as” Approved Training Organization”. It regulates the delivery of all the official courses carried out at SENASA’s Flight School in Ocaña, including power flight: PPL (A), Transition courses in PPL from Helicopter to Aircraft, Touring Motor Glider (TMG), CR (A) SEP (Land) renewal, CR (A) SEP (Land), LAPL (A) SEP (Land), LAPL (A) TMG; and non-power flight: FI (S), LAPL (S) upgrade to TMG, towed LAPL (S), SPL-LAPL (S) and acrobatic flight rating, as well as MCC and MCCI courses (flight simulators).

 

The approval is based on EASA FCL, which regulates pilot training in Europe. This certification can also provide regulated training to pilots of RPAS/drones, according to Law 18/2014 of October 14th.

 

EASA CS-FSTD

Intended to ensure the correct operation of the simulators, as well as their maintenance and technical management. There is a different EASA CS-FSTD certification for each of the existing simulators operated by SENASA in the Flight Simulator Centre (B-757), maintaining also another certification for a FFS ATR72-500 simulator, Category “D”, under the same standards.

 

EASA PART 145

The centre is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 (Annex II) for Aircraft Maintenance Centres (according to Part-145). This certification was obtained by SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca and Ocaña.

 

CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CAMO)

Approval obtained by SENASA’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Salamanca and Ocaña in accordance with Part M, Subparts "G" and "I" of Regulation (EC) No 1321/2014 (Annex I), in order to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft within its scope (SENASA and others), as well as to issue airworthiness review certificates.

 

FLIGHT CALIBRATION AND TOWING OF GLIDERS OPERATIONS

SENASA is authorized to perform towing of gliders operations (at its Sport Aviation Centre in Ocaña) and flight calibration (at the Maintenance and Operations Unit in Salamanca), according to Regulation EC n.965/2012, on specialised operations (SPO).

 

ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS ACCREDITATION

SENASA has been accredited as full member of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program. This program was established to ensure the highest training standards for all aviation professionals.

EASA PART 147

Approval as Part 147 organisation for the training of aircraft maintenance technicians in type ratings, according to Annex IV of Regulation (UE) 2042/2003 and Regulation 216/2008, specifically the SOCATA TOBAGO TB-10 with LYCOMING engine, in mechanics (B1) and avionics (B2).

 

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. UNE-EN ISO 9001

This certification has been obtained by:

 

  • The Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca, for the aircraft maintenance and operation activities, as well as for the maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations
  • SENASA’s Directoriate of Air Navigation and Operations, for the ATC simulators maintenance activities
  • SENASA’s Directoriate or Air Safety, for the following activities:
    • Performance of inspections, studies and supervision of air navigation services, aviation meteorology, restricted Aerodromes and technical review of changes in airspace
    • Performance of studies for construction on areas subject to aeronautical easements
    • Environmental management of aeronautical infrastructure projects
    • Management of civil aviation reported events
    • Spanish Language proficiency testing for aviation professionals
    • Users support service
    • Training organization for ramp inspections (SAFA and SACA)
    • AVSEC Inspection for regulatory control

 

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004

SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca has obtained the ISO 14001 certification for aircraft maintenance and operation operations, as well as for maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations.
