SENASA, Services and Studies for Air Navigation and Aeronautical Safety S.M.E. M.P. S.A., has acquired a strong commitment with quality establishing a management system which main actions are:
Certifies SENASA as” Approved Training Organization”. It regulates the delivery of all the official courses carried out at SENASA’s Flight School in Ocaña, including power flight: PPL (A), Transition courses in PPL from Helicopter to Aircraft, Touring Motor Glider (TMG), CR (A) SEP (Land) renewal, CR (A) SEP (Land), LAPL (A) SEP (Land), LAPL (A) TMG; and non-power flight: FI (S), LAPL (S) upgrade to TMG, towed LAPL (S), SPL-LAPL (S) and acrobatic flight rating, as well as MCC and MCCI courses (flight simulators).
The approval is based on EASA FCL, which regulates pilot training in Europe. This certification can also provide regulated training to pilots of RPAS/drones, according to Law 18/2014 of October 14th.
Intended to ensure the correct operation of the simulators, as well as their maintenance and technical management. There is a different EASA CS-FSTD certification for each of the existing simulators operated by SENASA in the Flight Simulator Centre (B-757), maintaining also another certification for a FFS ATR72-500 simulator, Category “D”, under the same standards.
EASA PART 145
The centre is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 (Annex II) for Aircraft Maintenance Centres (according to Part-145). This certification was obtained by SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca and Ocaña.
CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CAMO)
Approval obtained by SENASA’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Salamanca and Ocaña in accordance with Part M, Subparts "G" and "I" of Regulation (EC) No 1321/2014 (Annex I), in order to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft within its scope (SENASA and others), as well as to issue airworthiness review certificates.
FLIGHT CALIBRATION AND TOWING OF GLIDERS OPERATIONS
SENASA is authorized to perform towing of gliders operations (at its Sport Aviation Centre in Ocaña) and flight calibration (at the Maintenance and Operations Unit in Salamanca), according to Regulation EC n.965/2012, on specialised operations (SPO).
ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS ACCREDITATION
SENASA has been accredited as full member of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program. This program was established to ensure the highest training standards for all aviation professionals.
EASA PART 147
Approval as Part 147 organisation for the training of aircraft maintenance technicians in type ratings, according to Annex IV of Regulation (UE) 2042/2003 and Regulation 216/2008, specifically the SOCATA TOBAGO TB-10 with LYCOMING engine, in mechanics (B1) and avionics (B2).

SENASA’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca has obtained the ISO 14001 certification for aircraft maintenance and operation operations, as well as for maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations.
