Following an open tendering process, SENASA of Madrid, Spain was selected as the site for Macedonia´s M-NAV´s biennial ATC refresher training course.
Senasa is offering its simulation facilities and technical knowhow between April and June 2012. During this period more than eighty M-NAV controllers will be passing via Madrid for their ATC refresher training.
The refresher training is conducted in state-of-the-art hi fidelity ATC simulators. The airspace faithfully replicating Macedonian Airspace, has been specifically created by Senasa for this project. Traffic samples and exercises have been designed by M-NAV training designers to satisfy refresher training objectives. Senasa is also assisting with the controllers daily arrangements.
Senasa´s state of the art training infrastructure includes 18 dual position en-route and approach sector simulations and three 360º replica tower simulators which can be modularised to up to 6 180º tower simulators. The simulation facilities have a high degree of adaptability and virtually any airspace and any tower can be reproduced.
