The Appendix on "Acceptable means of compliance related to the training and certification of pilots operating remotely piloted aircraft" in relation to articles 33, 34, 35, and 38 of RD 1036/2017, establishes that instructors, assessors and teachers of remote pilots, must have a training course on different subjects of instruction and evaluation.


Course objectives

To train instructors, examiners and teachers of remote pilots in the following competences:

  • Prepare resources.
  • Expose knowledge.
  • Create a climate conducive to learning.
  • Facilitate learning.
  • Manage the time to achieve the training objectives.
  • Integrate TEM (Threat and Error Management) and coordination with observers.
  • Supervise and review the student's progress.
  • Evaluate student performance and learning.
  • Evaluate the sessions of the course: theoretical and practical.
  • Report the results of the course: types of evaluations and their applications.


Target audience

All RPAS instructors, assessors and teachers.


Regulatory background

Course details

Available for 20 days from the receipt of the keys to complete the course and the exam.


To obtain the diploma, it is essential to obtain a minimum score of 75%, with 2 opportunities to take the exam. Once passed, you can download the diploma of the course.


Technical requirement

Internet connection and Adobe Flash player (freeware) are required to access to the course. This course can not be done through tablets or mobile phones, or on any MAC device.



150 euros (VAT included).

Cancellation policy

If not reached the minimum number of students required, SENASA reserves the right to cancel the course, returning the full amount paid. The place on the course is only confirmed once payment is made. It is not possible to reserve.


To cancel your attendance please e-mail to the e-mail address: elearning@lms.senasa.es at least 7 days before the start of the course, which will entitle you to a refund of 90% of the price (remaining 10% in management expenses).


If not carrying out the cancellation, or make it 6 days or less before the start of the course, no amount will be refunded.


If you are unable to attend, as an alternative to the cancellation you have the option to someone else replace it in your course registration. To do this, you must communicate their data to the email address elearning@lms.senasa.es warning us of the change at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the course. In this case you will not be refunded any amount.


In case of cancellation due to force majeure accredited (death, accident, serious illness or hospitalization in all of them, in his own person or to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity), the student will be entitled to full reimbursement.
