SENASA, Services and Studies for Air Navigation and Aeronautical Safety S.M.E. M.P. S.A., has acquired a strong commitment with quality establishing a management system which main actions are:

GUARANTEE the staff permanent capacity and technical excellency for the realization of the works through a continuous training, documented and periodically updated according the necessities identified by the organization, for which there is a Training Plan.
GUARANTEE at all times the commissioning and correct operation of the ATC simulation elements.
MAINTAIN a clear, concise and fluid communication with clients and third parties and inform them punctually about the events and the incidents that have occurred in the course of the activities.
ESTABLISH this quality policy at the different levels to be taken and communicate it to all the concerned staff, as well as, facilitate its understanding and proceed to its review in order to its continuous adaptation.

CERTIFICATIONS AND AUTHORISATIONS

AUTHORISED ENTITY IN UAS/DRONES TRAINING

EASA PART 145

The Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca is compliant with Regulation (EC) 1321/2014 (Annex II) for (according to Part-145).

CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CAMO)

Approval obtained by SENASA’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Salamanca in accordance with Part M, Part ML and Part CAMO of Regulation (EC) Nº 1321/2014 (Annex I, Vb and Vc respectively), in order to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft within its scope (SENASA and others), as well as to issue airworthiness review certificates.

FLIGHT CALIBRATION OPERATIONS OF RADIO NAVIGATION AIDS

SENASA is authorized to perform flight calibration operations at the Maintenance and Operations Unit in Salamanca, according to Regulation EC nº 965/2012, on specialised operations (SPO).

ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS ACCREDITATION

SENASA has been accredited as full member of ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS program. This program was established to ensure the highest training standards for all aviation professionals.

EASA PART 147

Approval as Part 147 Organisation for the training of aircraft maintenance technicians in type ratings, according to Annex IV of Regulation (UE) 1321/2014, specifically the SOCATA TOBAGO TB-10 with LYCOMING engine, PILATUS PC-6 with Pratt and Whitney engine and Beech 300 Series (PWC PT6) aircraft group, in mechanics (B1) and avionics (B2).

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2015

This certification has been obtained by:

The Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca, for the aircraft maintenance and operation activities, as well as for the maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations
SENASA's Directoriate of Air Navigation and Operations, for the ATC simulators maintenance activities
SENASA's Directoriate or Air Safety, for the following activities:
- Performance of inspections, studies, supervision and changes of air navigation services.
- Provision of technical assistance to the national authority for the supervision of meteorological services in support of air navigation; the execution of audits/certification/supervision inspections to providers of air navigation meteorological services and the carrying out of studies commissioned by said authority.
- Support to the Spanish Safety Aviation Agency (AESA) in the operational safety, authorization and inspection of restricted aerodromes.
- Execution of studies for constructions, facilities or plantations on land subject to aeronautical easements and obstacles that exceed 100 meters in height with respect to the level of the terrain or surrounding water outside aeronautical easements.
- Management of notified events in civil aviation.
- Evaluation for aeronautical communications in Spanish of aeronautical personnel.
- Customer assistance service.
- AVSEC inspection.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015

SENASA's Aircraft Maintenance Centre in Salamanca has obtained the ISO 14001:2015 certification for aircraft maintenance and operation operations, as well as for maintenance and repair of aircraft components operations.
