SENASA delivers their diplomas to the XIV promotion of air traffic controllers, who complete their initial training at the SENASA ATC Training Center, after having successfully passed all the phases of this initial training. This promotion has developed a part of its training focused on tower control and another on approach and route control, with a duration of almost a year. The group of students shared the graduation ceremony, held in a hybrid face-to-face and online format, with members of the SENASA Air Control Training School, instructors, the administration team and family members.
In this closing ceremony, chaired by the president of SENASA, Andrés Arranz, a total of five male students and one female student have received their diplomas and will obtain their controller student licenses in the Tower, Approach and Route control ratings (ADV, ADI , APP, APS, ACP and ACS). This will allow them to join the unit formation in the different air control units distributed throughout the Spanish territory.
SENASA’s ATC school, where more than 2,000 students have been trained, has in its facilities sets of replica simulators and equipment and software (SACTA), in accordance with the community requirements included in European Regulation 340/2015.
Soon SENASA will offer new air traffic control courses for future students as to respond to the recent demand for professional controllers from ENAIRE.
