Madrid, March 23rd, 2022
SENASA and the Fundo de Promoção do Emprego e da Formação (FPEF) have signed an agreement whereby SENASA will train 10 air traffic controllers for the African archipelago. This agreement provides the initial training for Tower Control Training (ADI/ADV) for 10 students who will subsequently complete their professional program at the various facilities of the Cape Verde Air Navigation service provider (ASA Aeropuertos and Segurança Aerea).
Within the framework of this agreement, SENASA will first manage the selection process of students in person in Cape Verde and online from Spain. Those persons who pass the previous selection process will attend the initial training in Tower Control for approximately 16 weeks, in SENASA’s facilities in Madrid.
SENASA has extensive national and international experience in aeronautical training services, as well as consulting, technical assistance, maintenance and operation of aircraft and drones. In the field of the ATC training, our center is a national leader and international reference, with experience in air traffic control training services for countries like Azerbaijan, Albania, Mozambique or Ivory Coast, among others. Since 1995, more than 2000 ATC students have been in our classrooms where they have learned from a team of highly qualified instructors, experts in ATC simulation exercise design.
