The SENASA’s Network of Women, SENtir, was presented today in an event in which their motivations and goals of this collaborative network for equality begins its journey. As explained by Parisa Kochaki, chairwoman of SENtir, “Tolerance, Identity, and Responsibility are the values that, in any field, make the balance exist, therefore, make everything work.” With this vision in mind, the founders of this Network of Women have chosen these three concepts as the basis of its implementation.
The President and CEO of SENASA, Andrés Arranz, introduced the event and highlighted the organization’s support for this initiative and the management’s commitment to the path taken in terms of equality. Among its goals, SENtir is presented with the intention of seeking the inclusion and integration of all SENASA’s colleagues to continue promoting the commitment of equality and parity between women and men, not only inside, but also outside the company. As part of the founding team, members of the Management team also supported the presentation of the SENtir, which also received a warm welcome by Network of Women from other aeronautical organizations, such as AESA, ENAIRE, INECO and the association Ellas Vuelan Alto (EVA).
Sensitive to the presence of women in the aeronautical sector, SENtir is positioned as a space for meeting and integration, for sharing knowledge and concerns with the aim of encouraging vocations and promoting female talent access for new generations into the aeronautical industry.
SENASA, that has renewed the distinction “Equality in the Company”, granted by the Ministry of Equality, has had an Equality Plan implemented at all levels of the organization for more than 10 years. The launching of SENtir Network of Women represents a new achievement on the road of accomplish full equality among all of us.
