Madrid, June 24th, 2022
The President of SENASA, Andrés Arranz, and the General Director of Empresa Cubana de Navegación Aérea (ECNA), Francisco Javier Fernández Padiz, signed an agreement through which collaboration plans and initiatives will be developed for technical assistance and consultancy activities in the areas of safety and security, aeronautical training, environment, regulatory development, and air navigation.
After signing the agreement, the Cuban delegation visited SENASA's headquarters in Madrid to see the company's facilities, which house the Air Control Center, a national and international reference, equipped with replica simulators for training in Tower, Approach and Route air traffic control, where more than 3,500 professionals from all over the world have been trained.
After a long relationship forged with common interests, this agreement strengthens the collaborative ties between SENASA and Empresa Cubana de Navegación Aérea.
