SENASA presents its Strategic Plan 2021-2023 which contains the main strategic lines to achieve the objectives framed in a double mission: to prepare for an imminent recovery of the aeronautical sector and to be at the forefront of the technological transformation in the industry. SENASA's Strategic Plan has SEVEN STRATEGIC LINES which include 16 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES, developed through 34 specific ACTIONS and 52 INDICATORS.
As a general approach to the established strategic lines, SENASA intends to expand its current business lines -servicing to the public sector and aeronautical training-, generating and relaunching others in line with the 2030 Safe, Sustainable and Connected Mobility Strategy of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda -unmanned aerial vehicles and the environment-. This Strategic Plan, with its long term nature up to 2023, sprouts from a complicated social and global context due to the devastating consequences of the crisis caused by the COVID19 pandemic, at a time when flight and passengers’ figures have plummeted, causing enormous difficulties for the entire aeronautical sector.
To respond to the challenges in this scenario, SENASA is positioned as a benchmark in many of the sectors in which it carries out its business activities. It is a leader in control training at the national level and has an increasing presence at the international level. Its knowledge as a service provider to the public sector is recognized in all areas of transport and, in general, its position and image are well established in the aeronautical sector. Although air safety continues to be its main field of action in its quality of instrumental mean, SENASA stands alongside people and the planet, accompanying society in the difficult process of returning to normality, and betting on progress in sustainability and the environment in the aviation sector.
