SENASA, in cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), has developed a course on the ICAO Health Safety Protocols for Practitioners (HSPxP) that will allow relevant aviation professionals to acquire the necessary competencies to plan, implement and monitor efficient processes to effectively mitigate the impact of COVID-19. The main goal of this training is to enable the participants to develop processes in accordance with ICAO CART (Council Aviation Recovery Task Force) and related guidance material, ensuring a safe and sustainable recovery of air connectivity between States in line with safety risk management principles.
Ensuring the health safety of air travellers and aviation personnel is key for the successful recovery of the aviation industry within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The HSPxP course is composed of a first phase consisting of a four days training held in virtual mode, highly pragmatic and structured, followed by an on the job training (OJT) phase, where participants will develop a national case study that will be reviewed by the instructors after the course and discussed with them bilaterally.
