Under the title “Aviation and Environment”, SENASA has recently delivered a specialized seminar in webinar format for more than 180 attendees from member countries of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC). Most of the participants represented authorities in the field of aviation and technical personnel related to sustainability in the aeronautical sector.
The SENASA technical experts in charge of providing the training were Inmaculada Gómez, Eva Santos, José María Casillas and Raúl Martín, who analyzed aspects related to the evaluation of the environmental impact of aeronautical activities, acoustic emissions, emissions to the atmosphere, contribution of aviation against climate change and the development and promotion of sustainable fuels.
The seminar was held as part of the collaboration that SENASA and CLAC maintain in the field of specialized aviation training, which includes periodic courses on aspects such as, among others, ramp inspections, aviation sustainability and safety management systems.
