Madrid, November 11th, 2019
The final event of the "European Advanced Biofuels FlightPath" initiative, co-organized by SENASA, the European Commission, the Conference of Airport Regions (ARC), the ART Fuels Forum and the FlightPath programme itself, will take place in Brussels on 27 November. The meeting will focus on the future of sustainable aviation fuels at European level.
The project, coordinated by SENASA since 2016, aims to bring to the market sustainable aviation fuels, promoting measures at regional and national level through the involvement of the European aviation sector, and with the support of major airlines (Air France, KLM, IAG, Lufthansa and Airbus), agents in the energy sector (Neste and Total), as well as the main international institutions in the field of air transport (Eurocontrol and IATA).
The workshop, entitled "RED II and CORSIA: will they make the EU Fly on biojet over the next decade?", will last one day and will be attended by representatives of the European commercial aviation sector and legislators. This is undoubtedly the ideal framework for establishing contacts with potential new European players and decision-makers in the field of aviation.
