SENASA ATTENDS ICAO GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

Coinciding with SENASA´s attendance at the 40th edition of the ICAO General Assembly in Montreal, the President of SENASA, Andrés Arranz Stancel, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Central American Air Navigation Services Corporation (represented by its Executive President, Juan Carlos Trabanino), and with the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (represented by its Director, Isabel Maestre).

The objective of the agreement is the creation of a mechanism for cooperation and coordination among the participants, to develop joint and complementary initiatives in order to promote sustainable best practices in the Central American air sector, which contribute to reducing their impact on the environment and ecosystems of the region. All this with the common purpose of promoting initiatives and activities that imply an improvement in airport performance, as well as the creation and strengthening of capacities in environmental and climate change matters. In these areas, SENASA is a national and international reference, continuing with its commitment to sustainability and innovation in aviation.

Alongside to the signing of this MoU, SENASA has held meetings with representatives of the different international delegations (Cuba, Equatorial Guinea and ICAO agencies) to seek common interests and continue making progress in the internationalization process of the Organization.
