SENASA’s air traffic control training center has successfully passed an audit conducted by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), which will result in the official certification of SENASA as an authorized air traffic control training center for the African country
The audit conducted by the GCAA has included, among others, the teaching staff, the established training plans, the quality system of the center, the company's facilities and the maintenance processes. All this in accordance with Ghanaian directives on civil aviation and Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 of February 20, 2015, which establishes technical requirements and administrative procedures related to licenses and certificates of Air traffic controllers.
Since 2018, SENASA has been providing for the GCAA, through individual approvals, air traffic control initial training courses in the approach surveillance rating (APS). With the new certification, SENASA will be able to continue providing training courses for this entity in various areas related to air navigation.
