Madrid, May 24th, 2019
SENASA celebrated today the award ceremony for the third edition of its Initial Training Course for Tower, Approach and Area Controllers, which 48 students have successfully completed. After a teaching period of 13 months, the new professionals will receive their licenses from the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), which will allow them to start unit training in their respective destinations.
The presentation of the certificates has been carried out by the President of SENASA, Andrés Arranz Stancel, and the Director General of ENAIRE, Angel Luis Arias Serrano. The event was also attended by representatives of the Air Traffic Controllers Union (USCA) and the Professional Association of Air Traffic Controllers (APROCTA).
The Director General of ENAIRE congratulated the students for overcoming the course and highlighted the importance for the entity and for the future of Spanish air navigation of this promotion trained in SENASA.
