The XXIII Ordinary Assembly of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC), one of the most important sectorial forums in the region, was held in Havana (Cuba) between November 19 and 21. The assembly was attended by the highest civil aviation authorities and more than 100 foreign delegates.
SENASA is one of the five entities that this year were distinguished with an intervention in the plenary session of the assembly. The presentation, which was delivered by the President of the company, Andrés Arranz Stancel, highlighted the capabilities of SENASA to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of CLAC in terms of training, aeronautical safety and the environment. The president of SENASA held during his visit bilateral meetings with the top representatives of the Cuban Civil Aeronautics and visited the simulator center of the Cuban Air Navigation Company and the Cuban Aeronautical Training Center.
During the meetings, the members of CLAC evaluated the work developed in the last two years and approved the strategic plans of the organization for the future, aimed at promoting the efficient, sustainable, safe and harmonized development of Latin American air transport. The organizers welcomed the results of the XXIII Ordinary Assembly in the closing ceremony, stressing the importance of the advancement of air transport for the economic and social development of the region.
