SENASA is a State-owned entity, which has the status of instrumental means and technical service of the General State Administration and its public law bodies and entities, pursuant to article 67 of Law 24/2001, of December 27 , of Fiscal, Administrative and Social Order Measures. It originates from the former Air Force training center and has a staff of more than 600 professionals.
Currently, it provides specialized technical assistance to public entities in the Spanish aeronautical sector in numerous areas: safety, security, air navigation, meteorology, airports, aeronautical easements and environmental sustainability, among others. In all of them, it also constitutes an international benchmark in the field of training. Along with this, it develops the business lines of consulting, air traffic controllers training, UAS pilots training, maintenance and operation of aircraft.
Since its creation in 1991, SENASA has evolved into the society it is today: a dynamic company with a long aeronautical tradition in the areas of training, consulting and technical assistance, which has acquired a global commitment to aviation safety and environment.
