Complaints and reports box

PRINCIPLES GOVERNING THE INTERNAL INFORMATION SYSTEM

The principles governing the Internal Information System and the management of SENASA's Complaints and Reports Box are as follows:

• Guarantee the rights of all persons who send any type of communication through the Complaints and Report Box, especially the complainant and the person complained against, in particular:
• Guarantee of confidentiality and secrecy of communications.
• Right not to suffer reprisals for communications (reports or complaints) made within the scope of Article 2 of Law 2/2023, and provided that the conditions of protection set out in section 7 of this document and in Article 35 of the same are met, and to receive the assistance that, where appropriate, may be necessary.
• The right of the person about whom the complaint is made to be informed of the actions or omissions attributed to him/her and to be heard at any time.
• Respect the presumption of innocence, the honour of the persons affected and their right to defence.
• Guarantee the privacy of the person making the report or complaint and the protection of their personal data, in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Ensure the analysis of all communications received and their effective processing.
• Require appropriate and proportionate action to be taken in the event of verification of such communications.
• Ensure that resources with the capacity, autonomy and independence are available to conduct relevant investigations, and that all areas of the company, if required, will cooperate with them.

This Complaints and Reports Box is established as the preferred system for the communication of alleged administrative infractions and criminal conduct in SENASA, however, in any case, such complaints may be submitted in parallel to the External Information System of the Independent Authority for the Protection of Informants, as well as, where appropriate, to any other administrative or judicial authorities.
