SENASA is organising a new information session on April 20th, 2023 to discuss the training process for the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) profession, addressing aspects to be taken into account for those considering their professional career as an air traffic controller.
The briefing will be conductes by the Director of Air Navigation and Operations of SENASA, Francisco Vergara, and the Head of the School of Air Traffic Control of SENASA, Antonio Bonilla. In addition, instructors and psychologists specialised in air traffic control training will attend the event to answer any questions about the profession and its requirements for future candidates.
This conference is organised in a face-to-face format at SENASA's headquarters in Madrid and can also be followed remotely online. For those attending in person, a subsequent visit to the School of Air Traffic Control facilities is planned, where visitors could see replica simulators for Tower, Approach and En-route air traffic control, briefing rooms and CBT rooms. More than 3,500 students from all over the world have been trained in SENASA's classrooms since 1995.
SENASA has the technology and experience necessary to design ATC, aerodrome and en-route scenarios for any airport or airspace in the world. Both manoeuvre tests and training of aeronautical professionals can be carried out in these scenarios, as well as a multitude of operating conditions, environments and degrees of difficulty, among others, can be reproduced with total fidelity.
