NEW AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL COURSES 24/25 AT SENASA

Madrid, June 24th, 2024

SENASA introduce the new Initial Training Courses in Air Traffic Control 2024 - 2025. The Initial Training on Air Traffic Control is an essential stage for the subsequent development of the students' careers in their destination units.

SENASA’s School of Air Traffic Control offers in 2024-2025 two courses, with two editions each (July and October): Full Rating for Tower, Approach and Enroute Control, and Module 2 for Approach and Enroute Control, in accordance with the European Regulation 340/2015.

Registrations for this new training offer will be available from June 24th to July 7th 2024 through the SENASA’s website. The courses, which will have an approximate duration of between 27 and 47 teaching weeks, depending on each course (Full Rating or Module 2), will start in mid-July 2024 (those corresponding to the July edition). For the October edition courses, the starting dates will be announced soon. SENASA is offering 24 places for the Module 2 course and 48 places for the July Full Rating course. The October courses will have 24 places for each category: Module 2 or Full Rating.

Upon successful completion of this initial training, student controllers will obtain the following Air Traffic Control ratings:

- Module 2 course: Approach control (APP/APS and TCL endorsement), en-route control (ACS/ACP) and GMS endorsement training (ADI/ADV ratings).

- Full Rating Course: Tower control (ADI/ADV with TWR, RAD, and GMS endorsements), Approach control (APP/APS and TCL endorsement) and En-route control (ACP/ACS).

SENASA is committed to effective and quality training, even extending the training of its students with the possibility of specific training focused on the unit of destination. Since 1995, more than 3500 national and international air traffic controllers have been trained at SENASA's classrooms. They have been trained in replica Tower and Radar simulators equipped with SACTA technology, used by ENAIRE.

SENASA is a benchmark in air traffic control, aeronautical safety and drone training. It also develops consultancy activities and specialised technical assistance in areas such as operational and physical safety, air navigation, meteorology, airports, environment and everything related to the emerging UAS industry. All this has allowed SENASA to become a national and international benchmark in training and technical training in the aeronautical sector.
