AVIATION MEDICINE is a branch of Medicine which focuses on the effects that the aeronautical environment may have on the human being.
Both the environmental conditions and the activity developed in the aerospace environment may alter the health of pilots aircrews, and passengers exposed. The individual’s health may determine their own capabilities to develop their activity in that environment effectively and safely.
SENASA in collaboration with CIMA (Spanish Aerospatiale Medicine Training Institute), pioneer in the field of aviation medicine in Spain and Reference Aeromedicine Center since 1942, organize an ADVANCED AVIATION MEDICINE COURSE according to the requirements established by EASA (European Air Safety Agency)
The course is approved by the Spanish Aviation Safety Authority (AESA) and complies with the requirements set out in Regulation EU 1178/2011 in chapter MED.D.015 and in Regulation EU 2015/340 in section ATCO MED.C.015.
