FOREIGN PART 145 APPROVALS

 

EASA is the Competent Authority for part 145 maintenance organisations having their principal place of business located outside the EU and which are not certified under the provisions of a bilateral agreement signed with the EU.

As competent authority, EASA also is responsible for the final approval of these maintenance organisations and for establishing procedures detailing how these EASA Part-145 applications and approvals are managed.

EASA has developed associated instructions (user guides, Forms, templates and work instructions), that detail specific matters applicable to these organizations, so their understanding is extremely important for these organizations.

Course objective:

  • The objective of this course is to provide knowledge and explanations about these associated instructions and especially for initial approval, continuous oversight, MOE elaboration and audits performance.

Addressed to:

  • The recipients are Managers, Maintenance Managers, personnel involved in maintenance, staff performing maintenance control, Quality Manager, auditors or any professional or future professional interested in gaining knowledge about foreign maintenance organizations approval.
