UAS REGULATORY REGULATIONS ACCORDING TO THE NEW ROYAL DECREE 517/2024

Course objective

The objective of this course is to acquire knowledge of the modifications introduced by the new Spanish Royal Decree 517/2024, which develops the legal regime for the civil use of unmanned aerial systems, which complements the legal regime applicable to the civil use of UAS subject to European Union regulation.

Therefore, this course is addressed to UAS operators, remote pilots, UAS manufacturers and distributors, institutions, private and public companies and individuals interested in the use of UAS, both for EASA operations and non-EASA activities or services, since the applicability of the new Spanish Royal Decree is transversal to all civil UAS operations.

Course program

  • General provisions RD. 517/2024, of 4 June. General regime for the use of UAS.
  • Non-EASA activities or services carried out directly by bodies vested with public authority.
  • Entities for the training, examination and evaluation of remote pilots.
  • Use of airspace and geographical areas for UAS.
  • Registers.
  • Competence and cooperation.
  • Common administrative provisions.

Course details

  • The course has a duration of 1 day (4 hours), and is taught in online mode through Microsoft Teams.
  • From 10:00 p.m. to 14:20 p.m. (including 20' rest)..
  • The language of the training is Spanish.
  • 120 euros.
  • Limited places: 20 students.

Cancellation policy

To cancel your attendance, please send an email at least 7 days before the beginning of the course. This will allow you to receive a reimbursement of 90% of the price of the course (the remaining 10% will be considered as management costs).

In the case that cancellation is not communicated, or if it is done within a less-than-6 days period before the beginning of the course, no reimbursement shall be made to the student.

If you are unable to attend the course, as an alternative to cancellation you have the option of having someone else replacing you in your course registration. To do this, you must communicate their data by email letting us know the change at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the course. In this case, no amount will be refunded.

In case of cancellation due to force majeure accredited (death, accident, serious illness or hospitalization, in all of these cases, in his own person or to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity), the student shall be entitled to reimbursement.

In case that the minimum number of students is not reached, SENASA holds the right to cancel the course, and will make full reimbursement of the price already paid by the students.
