EASA AIR OPS - HELICOPTER AIR OPERATIONS
Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 of 5 October 2012 establishes technical requirements and administrative procedures in relation to air operations under Regulation (EC) No 2018/1139 of the European Parliament and of the Council. It impacts the way National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) and operators work and demonstrate their compliance with the regulations. This course introduces in detail the regulation for Commercial Air Transport with Helicopters.

Course content:
- Framework Regulation.
- Annex I: Definitions.
- Annex II: Part ARO (Authority requirements for Air Operations).
- Annex III: Part-ORO (Air operators requirements).
- Annex IV: Part-CAT (Technical requirements for Commercial Air Transport operations with helicopters).
- Annex V: Part-SPA (Requirements for Specific Approvals).
- Annex VI: Part-NCC (Technical requirements for non-commercial operations of complex motor-powered aircraft).
- Annex VII: Part-NCO (Technical requirements for specific operations of other-than-complex motor-powered aircraft).
- Annex VIII: Part-SPO (Technical requirements for the specialised operations, including commercial and non-commercial operations).
The course does not include:
- CAT, SPA, NCC, NCO nor SPO for aeroplanes.
- Fire Fighting and Air Rescue Service operations.
Course objective:
- To familiarise participants with EU requirements for competent authorities, commercial and non-commercial helicopter operations.
Addressed to:
- Accountable Managers, Managers of flight operations, ground operations, training, safety, compliance monitoring, planning, loading and security of commercial air transport operators with helicopters.
- All staff who, due to their responsibilities or functions, need to be familiar with the regulation on Air Operations.
