AIRCREW FATIGUE RISK MANAGEMENT

SAmendments to ICAO Annex 6 Parts I and II have included new SARPs relating to air crew fatigue management. The European Union has implemented these amendments in its Air Operations Regulations with EU Regulation 83/2014. The complexity of the new requirements, make necessary the development of specific training programs required in these provisions.

Course objective:

  • Understand safety objectives addressed by ICAO Annex 6 SARPs and EU 83/2014
  • Gather the knowledge and understanding about basic scientific related physiological mechanisms underlying fatigue; as well demonstrate how this knowledge is applied to improving air crew sleep, performance and alertness.
  • Comply with ORO.FTL.250 requirements related fatigue management training.

  • Authorities, airlines, general aviation and aerial work operators:
  • Flight operations, training and safety post-holders.
  • Crew schedulers.
  • Authorities´ Flight Operations Inspectors.

Technical requirements virtual mode:

  • Cable connection preferably to avoid connection failures
  • MANDATORY webcam and headphones connected throughout the course (not use pc speaker to avoid coupling sound)
