SPECIALISED OPERATIONS - SPO

In 2016, European regulations were implemented in the field of so-called aerial work, until then under national regulations. This implies the adaptation and compliance of a new common regulation for all members under the EASA scope and within the operations part of the new EU Regulation 965/2012 to include, among others, the operations manuals, the development of a management system, previously not necessary in companies in the sector, and new training requirements for both pilots, ground staff and task specialists.

This course develops the aforementioned elements, as well as basic concepts of NCC and NCO operation.

Objectives:

  • Acquisition of regulatory knowledge related to SPO and non commercial operations (NCC y NCO) within the EASA regulatory framework.
  • Introduction to the interpretation of basic regulations of UE 965/2012 and it’s nomenclature.
  • Basic introduction to the elaboration and content of the operation manual.
  • Basics understanding of the management system.
  • Introduction and interpretation of training and training requirements and/or verifications.
  • Basic introduction to elaboration requirements and contents of the SOP.
  • Introduction and undestanding of the requirements for SPO high risk authorizations and minimum heights.

  • Module 1. Generalities
  • Module 2. Commercial specialized operations
  • Module 3. Non comercial operations
  • Module 4. High risk commercial operations and flights below minimun altitudes

Addressed to:

  • Commercial Aereal works (commercial specialized operations SPO) and non comercial operations (NCC and NCO) with complex and other tan complex aircrafts.
  • All those reponsable for the áreas of responsability within the Operator required by UE 965/2010 that need to apply the current regulation, as well as pilots who want to expand and improve their knowledge in the área of aerial work regulations.

Technical Requeriments virtual mode:

  • Wired connection, if possible, to avoid connection failures
  • Mandatory webcam connected throughout the course
  • Audio / mic system (preferably with headphones)
