ATC OVERVIEW COURSE 2025

This course is aimed for the preparation of future recruiting processes in air navigation services providers for of air traffic controllers. Its contents have been prepared in accordance with the contents published by ENAIRE in December 2024.

• Provide general knowledge on subjects related to air traffic control services.
• Solve technical questions related to the subjects to be delivered.

The course is addressed to all those who are interested in acquiring or improving their knowledge in subjects related to air traffic control. It has been designed in order to help to successfully pass the test exams on general aviation knowledge within a recruitment process of air navigation service providers.

• Aviation Law and Organizations.
• ICAO, IATA Codes and Aircraft Recognition.
• Meteorology.
• Cartography.
• Navigation and Surveillance Systems.
• Flight plan and air traffic flow management.
• Professional environment.
• Human factors in ATM.
• Aerodynamics and flight mechanics

The course includes the execution of simulations of quiz-type tests for self-assessment purposes.

Duration: The course will last 50 hours spread over 12 sessions.

Location of the course: It will be taught in person at the SENASA facilities (Avenida de la Hispanidad, 12. Madrid 28042) and simultaneously through Microsoft Teams for those who cannot attend in person.

Price: 475 €.

To cancel your attendance, please send an email at least 7 days before the beginning of the course. This will allow you to receive a reimbursement of 90% of the price of the course (the remaining 10% will be considered as management costs).

In the case that cancellation is not communicated, or if it is done within a less-than-6 days period before the beginning of the course, no reimbursement shall be made to the student.

If you are unable to attend the course, as an alternative to cancellation you have the option of having someone else replacing you in your course registration. To do this, you must communicate their data by email letting us know the change at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the course. In this case, no amount will be refunded.

In case of cancellation due to force majeure accredited (death, accident, serious illness or hospitalization, in all of these cases, in his own person or to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity), the student shall be entitled to reimbursement.

In case that the minimum number of students is not reached, SENASA holds the right to cancel the course, and will make full reimbursement of the price already paid by the students.
