AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN PIRINEOS DRONE AVIATION AND SENASA FOR SPECIALISED UAS TRAINING

SENASA and the specialised drone operator Pirineos Drone Aviation signed a collaboration agreement for the development of training in technical specialties of application with drones.

As a result of this agreement, training programmes will be launched for the professional piloting of UAS with which official specialists certifications could be obtained by both entities. The training offered through this agreement will include technical and operational support from Pirineos Drone and legal and operational safety support from SENASA.

Both companies have extensive expertise in the field of operation and specialised training in the drone sector. In the case of SENASA, with more than 30 years of expertise in consultancy and training in the aeronautical sector, its contribution focuses on the safe and effective integration of the use of drones as a tool in processes and activities of different industries.

With an advanced, high quality and flexible catalogue of UAS courses, SENASA is a benchmark in training courses adapted to the new market needs. Since 2012 more than 1800 professionals have been trained in its school, instructed by a team of expert instructors with extensive expertise in aeronautical training focused on the training of this booming industry.

Reflecting the constant development and professionalisation of this sector, SENASA and Pirineos Drone Aviation will now jointly offer a catalogue of highly specialised catalogue of courses focused on the use of UAS in activities such as the inspection of photovoltaic plants or power lines, police security operations and logistical operations in mountains.

This is a key moment for SENASA to promote innovation and ensure quality training to continue this growth and the proper integration of drones in the new innovative mobility.

Pirineos Drone Aviation is a drone operating company founded in 2021 that provides services as specialists in two divisions: inspections and logistics.

Inspection of power generation and energy transport facilities. Specialists in the exhaustive visual inspection and aerial thermography of large photovoltaic solar plants, solar thermal plants, industrial self-consumption and high and medium voltage lines with management of the entire operation and delivery of data and/or generation of reports. Inspection of industrial infrastructures, structures and civil works, Lidar and digital modelling.

In 2024, the logistics division is incorporated, which in turn aims to develop logistics services with drones in mountainous and difficult access areas, with the aim of transporting loads of between 25 kg and 100 kg in different ranges of range and unevenness.
